JCB Academy apprenticeship centre handed over

Work at The Dove Engineering Centre at the JCB Academy near Derby has been completed and the new facility has been handed over ready for final client fit-out.  The Centre will be officially opened in July, ready for the new academic year.  The £1m project was supported by the local LEP and creates new specialised training, teaching and social spaces.

MOArchitecture has been involved throughout the scheme – from developing initial outline proposals for the conversion of a former primary school to accommodate the new apprentice training facilities, through to gaining a challenging planning approval and consultant switch to the design & build main contractor.

More soon.
